‘Ruskin, Dickens and the Pre Raphaelites’

Lucinda Hawksley is an author, biographer, art historian and award-winning travel writer who teaches  literature and art history to undergraduates and is a regular speaker at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Her biographies include Lizzie Siddal, The Tragedy of a Pre-Raphaelite Supermodel; Katey, The Life and Loves of Dickens’ Artist Daughter; Charles Dickens: A Bicentenary Celebration; and The Mystery of Princess Louise: Queen Victoria’s Rebellious Daughter.

Lucinda is a great great great granddaughter of Charles and Catherine Dickens, and a patron of the Charles Dickens Museum in London and of the Norwegian Pickwick Club. She has worked for the British Council in London and in India and has lectured about her books and about Dickens family history all over the world. More information can be found on her website:
